River Valley Golf Course | Family-Centred Summer Wedding
The most stunning mid-June day and the beautiful backdrop of River Valley, it doesn’t get much better than this! While I may be biased any time I document a friend’s wedding, M & J truly pulled of an incredibly fun day for everyone - and the valley provided a breathtaking portrait location on the golf course. Seeing their little ones involved in such an important day was beyond heartwarming (and entertaining too)! Florals: Lyric Flowers, MUA: Ally Sands Beauty, Hair: Darlene Hymers
Winter Couple’s Session | Downtown Stratford, Ontario
A short but sweet session on a beautiful winter day! While the photos hide just how cold we were, I do wish we had some BTS footage of us running around trying to stay warm while all the tourists watched on… The Avon River and Downtown Stratford are always a perfect backdrop for a snowy session. Being a local myself, I’ve been known to sneak down side alleys and pathways to quieter locations with the same small town feel. I don’t know that I’ll ever get sick of photographing this gorgeous town! And for those across the border, check out Hailey’s work: Hailey Ann Creative
Fall Family Photos | Mitchell Ontario
The West Perth Wetlands never disappoints with those September sunsets! This gorgeous family was so much fun to work with and the kids just had a blast running around the pond. It’s always such an honour to document families and little ones throughout the years - photos are often something that gets left on the back burner (they’re a bit of a pain to plan, I know!) but it’s so worth it to look back on such a precious time in your lives. Shelby and Jordan are a Stratford-local power couple, running multiple businesses and doing so much for the community! Summer Camp Wedding | Camp Kintail, Goderich
The first wedding of the 2022 season was an absolute dream! When C & S reached out about their big day, I knew I had to be a part of it - who doesn’t love a camp wedding? Huron County is close to my heart and Camp Kintail provided the best the county has to offer, all in one location. The cabin stay experience, space for activities, community dinner and the most incredible Lake Huron sunset. This unique ceremony location provided such an intimate space - complete with a view of the lake as the backdrop and an exit that was made for a confetti toss! Safe to say this season started off on a beautiful high note!
Fall Family Photos | Kin Park - St. Marys
This lovely bunch has been in front of my camera a few times now! One of my favourite parts of the job will always be witnessing families grow and little ones getting older year after year. With stunning small towns in the area, you don’t have to look far for some beautiful scenery. Kin Park in St. Marys has it all, between the river and the wildlife it provides a similar location to The Flats with a little bit more privacy.
University of Guelph Arboretum | Queer Engagement Session
Between some intense weather and a long drive ahead of us all, this session almost didn’t happen. It poured rain my entire drive there and back, but the skies cleared up just long enough for an incredibly moody forest shoot at the Guelph Arboretum. The three of us showed up in different variations of the same outfit (Blundstones required) and the rest was history! As I’m uploading this session, I’m currently editing their stunning wedding photos nearly a year later so stay tuned for those!
