Lake Huron Cottage Elopement | Point Clark Wedding

As I began planning blog posts, I thought back to my first ever pandemic wedding. E and D had previous plans that were interrupted by lockdown restrictions, so they pivoted to create the most incredible elopement at a family cottage in Point Clark, Ontario. With a limited guest list, this intimate celebration was filled with close family and friends, making for a day full of laughter and reminiscing. This October day turned out to be one for the books!

With only 6 weeks between meeting this lovely couple and their big day, their one request was that I capture sunset portraits before I leave. My rainy drive from Stratford and a ceremony space right on the lake made it look like our plans might be shaken up once again, but the clouds parted just as I pulled up to the cottage and we could not have asked for better weather. As for the sunset photos, I think those speak for themselves!
